La v2 che non ti aspetti (in negativo)

Ieri è stato il mio compleanno ed ho pensato di farmi un piccolo regalo: mettere in produzione la v2.

In realtà da venerdì sera fino a un'oretta fa ci abbiamo provato. Poi io e Christian abbiamo deciso che per il momento abbiamo di meglio di fare :)

Se avete fatto un giro nel sito tra venerdì sera e stamattina avrete sicuramente notato rallentamenti evidenti. Beh, per qualche strano motivo lo stesso codice che con la v1.1 (e nel mio mini ambiente di testing con la v2) funziona senza particolari problemi, una volta portato in produzione online fa le bizze.

Il risultato è milioni di exception l'ora (benchè in realtà tutto funzioni...) e CPU al 100%. Ne abbiamo provate di tutte, praticamente, ma senza risultati apparenti. Oggi pomeriggio apro un incident al PSS e contestualmente mando un po' di mail al dev team. Vi tengo aggiornati, anche perchè dubito di essere l'unico a mettere in produzione un bel po' di pagine ASP.NET "legacy" ed un tantino sotto stress :)
